Wix Blocks: Setting Wix App Dependencies

When you create a Blocks app, your code may require that the user who installs the app on their site also installs specific Wix apps. This is called a Wix App Dependency. For example, your app may require that the site include Wix Stores, or Wix Bookings. 

When a user installs a Blocks app with an app dependency, they receive a notification that they need to install one or more apps for the app to be useable. 

Add an App Dependency

1. Click WixBlocks > App > App Dependencies.

2. Click + Add Dependencies and select the App that you want to add.

Remove an App Dependency

1. Click WixBlocks > App > App Dependencies.
2. Hover over the app you want to remove and click the three dots menu to remove it.
