Wix SEO Setup Checklist: Viewing and Updating Your Keywords

We allow adding up to 3 keywords to the SEO Setup Checklist when you build your checklist as it's easier to focus on a small number of keywords when optimizing your site for the first time. 

After you've built your checklist, you can add up to 5 keywords in your checklist settings.

However, the Wix SEO Setup Checklist only uses these keywords to create a plan for your site. This means that you can apply the same recommendations to any other keyword you need to incorporate in your content. 

For example, you can add as many keywords as needed to your home page's text as long as it's an organic part of the content.

Yes. You can follow the same plan suggested by the SEO Setup Checklist with keywords in any other language. 

The SEO Setup Checklist doesn't automatically add any keyword to your site's source code as it's generally not a good practice. 

When reviewing your site, Google and other search engines don't search for a list of keywords in your site's source code to understand what it's about. Rather, they look for keywords that are organically implemented in your content.
