Wix Payments Brazil: Enabling Boleto Bancário as a Payment Method

Your customer will be issued a Boleto. It will look like this:

All Boletos issued are valid for 2 days and it is not possible to edit the validity of the Boleto.

If the ticket expires, the transaction is canceled after 5 days . In the period between the payment slip expiry and the transaction cancellation, your customer may issue another Boleto, or choose another available payment method to complete the payment.

From the moment the Boleto is generated, its status on your Wix Payments dashboard is Pending. When the customer pays the Boleto, the transaction status changes to Success/Credited.

During the period when the order status is Pending, your inventory will not be updated. Your products are not reserved for pending transactions. So be sure to check your stock regularly.

Stock is only updated after payment confirmation and order creation in store - which can take up to 3 business days. If you prefer the stock to be updated immediately after the customer has issued the ticket, click here.

Wix has the right to reject or suspend your account. You will be able to make sales immediately after filling in your information and creating the account. However, if your account is rejected, any order you have received via credit card will be canceled and refunded, which does not apply to orders paid by Boleto. In this case, the transaction will also be canceled and, if the payment has been made, the bank details of the payer must be informed to Wix.

It is not possible to offer a discount coupon for transactions processed only by Boleto Bancário.
