Wix Editor: Static.wixstatic.com/media Appears in URL of Wix Images

You may notice that static.wixstatic.com/media appears in the URL of an image. This appears, for example, when you right click an image and open in it in a new tab. 

Static.wixstatic.com/media is the server where Wix hosts all its images. It allows us to deliver these images to you and your users quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we do not recommend hosting your images using an external resource.
