Social Media Marketing: Creating and Publishing Your Social Posts

Social posts are a great way to engage with your audience. Share images and videos that give exciting updates about your business, promoting awareness and driving traffic to your site.

Wix makes it easy to create and customize your posts in the Social Media Marketing dashboard.

To create your post:

Go to Social Media Marketing in your site's dashboard.
Click Quick Actions at the top right and choose what you want to do:

Create image

Create video

Click Create video with Vimeo.
Add the video content and text:

2. Select the photos or videos you want to add and click Add to Video.
3. Enter the text for your video:
  - Opening Text: This appears at the beginning of your video and should introduce the concept of the video.
  - Second Text: This text appears next. Use it to explain more about the concept.
  - Third Text: This text is the next to appear. It's a good idea to make this a call-to-action to explain what you would like the viewers to do, such as "Visit Our Store".
  - Closing Text: This is the last text to appear. It is usually a good place to enter your website address or contact details so your viewers know how to find you.
Click Next.
Customize the design of your video:
- Choose a Video Style: Select the style of your video. Hover over the styles to preview them.
- Choose a Layout: Choose the video layout: Horizontal, Vertical, or Square
- Choose Colors and Font: Click the color boxes to set the colors for your video and use the drop-down menu to choose the text font.
Click Next.
Select the music track for your video. Click the tracks to listen to a preview. Alternatively, disable the Music On toggle if you do not want to play a track.
Click Next.
Enter your business information and click the Include info at the end of this video toggle to display this info at the end of your video. This gives your visitors all the information they need to contact you or view your site. It is also a good opportunity to share your logo and business tagline to showcase your brand.
Note: Logos must be 48x48 pixels in order to be rendered properly.
Click Apply & Preview.
Select the relevant option:
- Back to Editing: Make additional changes to your video.
- Save & Share: Save the video to the Your Social Posts tab in your Social Media Marketing dashboard. Then download and share your video on social media.

Publish your social posts to get it seen by your audience. You can edit previously saved designs before sharing, and customize each post's caption accordingly.

To publish a post:

Go to Social Media Marketing in your site's dashboard.
Click Your Social Posts at the top.
Hover over the design you want to publish and click the その他のアクション アイコン .
Click Preview & Publish.
Tip: Click Download to save your post to your computer.
