Wix Multilingual: Creating a Multilingual Site with Right-to-Left Content

Wix Multilingual detects and auto-aligns your site when you auto-translate your site. So, your text aligns to the right and the direction changes to right-to-left. These steps also apply to text elements that are attached to elements such as strips, repeaters, slideshows and boxes. 

Reorder the icons on your social bar to best suit each language. For example, prioritize an icon for a social network popular in a specific country by placing it first. 

Using the Wix Photo Studio, you can also change the direction of individual images to be right-to-left by flipping the original image. The process of changing the image direction is the same for all single-image elements on your site.

To change a gallery's image order on your site's right-to-left version, manually reorder the images. 

If you have a few videos displayed in a row you can change their order on your site's right-to-left version, manually replace each video in every language. For example, reorder videos from 1-2-3 in LTR to 3-2-1 in RTL.

With some Wix applications (e.g. Stores), the writing direction applies to all languages. We recommend selecting a centered text alignment if you have both RTL and LTR languages in your site.
